Actress Chioma Chukwuka-Akpotha Mourns Father’s Death

Nollywood actress Chioma Chukwuka-Akpotha has announced the death of her father, Leonard Ndukaife Chukwuka.

The actress disclosed the news in an emotional Instagram post on Friday, October 2, saying her father had “gone to be with the Lord.”

Chioma said the loss was particularly painful because she lost her mother 13 years ago and is now facing life without either parent.

She described her late father as her “daddy,” “papa’m,” “obara’m” and “comfort,” while expressing gratitude that he lived long enough to see his children and grandchildren.

Actress Seeks Prayers

The actress said she had kept the news private for a period while trying to process her grief before deciding to make the announcement publicly.

She appealed to fans, friends and well-wishers to keep her, her siblings and the entire Chukwuka family in their prayers.

Chioma also said the family would announce details of her father’s funeral arrangements when they were ready.

The announcement has attracted messages of condolence from fans and colleagues across the entertainment industry as they sympathise with the actress and her family.
