Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter Slams AIPAC’s Role in U.S. Policy on Israel

Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter has openly criticized the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), saying the lobby group is not committed to peace in the Middle East.
In a strongly worded remark, Carter stated:
“AIPAC is not dedicated to peace. They’re dedicated to inducing maximum support in America, the White House, the Congress, and the public media for whatever policies the Israeli government has.”
