Russia has announced missile tests at the Kura test site in the Ust-Kamchatka region, involving systems capable of carrying nuclear warheads

These involve nuclear-capable systems, such as intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) like the Yars, Bulava, or Sineva, which are routinely tested at this site for target practice and re-entry

The Kamchatka Krai Ministry of Emergency Situations and Russia’s Defense Ministry issued warnings. Access to the range and surrounding areas is strictly prohibited for civilians and equipment during this period.

They warned that any Ukrainian attempt to disrupt Victory Day celebrations with drones or missiles would trigger a “retaliatory, massive missile strike on the center of Kyiv,” including decision-making centers
