The Netherlands took a huge step towards the World Cup knockout stages with a commanding 5-1 victory over Sweden in Group F.

Brian Brobbey scored twice in the first half, while Cody Gakpo added two more early in the second half. Crysencio Summerville wrapped up the win with a late strike. Anthony Elanga scored a consolation for Sweden.

The Dutch, who drew with Japan in their opener, now have four points and qualification within their grasp.

The victory extends Netherlands’ unbeaten run in 90 minutes to 14 World Cup matches.
