FG Condemns Use of Incorrect Appellation for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu
The Federal Government has expressed concern over what it described as the repeated misuse of President Bola Tinubu’s official title by some organisations and media outlets, urging stricter adherence to the correct appellation.
Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume, made this known on Friday in Abuja through a statement issued by his media aide, Yomi Odunuga.
According to Akume, the clarification followed an error noticed in the naming and appellation of the president in a publication by a national newspaper on Wednesday, May 7, 2026.
