Vice President Kashim Shettima, accompanied by Borno State Governor Babagana Zulum and former Deputy Senate President Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, departed Abuja on Monday for Asaba, Delta State, to formally welcome Governor Sheriff Oborevwori into the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The high-profile delegation’s visit marks a significant political shift in Delta State, as Governor Oborevwori’s defection to the APC is expected to bolster the party’s influence in the South-South region.
