ECOWAS @50: Nigeria Set To Host Regional Conference On Countering Emerging Terrorist Groups In ECOWAS And The Sahel
Top Nigerian policymakers, security experts and international partners are set to converge at the National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC), in the Office of the National Security Adviser, Abuja, tomorrow, Wednesday, September 3, for a two-day Regional Conference on Combating Emerging Terrorist Groups and Strengthening Sustainable Security in the ECOWAS Region and the Sahel.
The conference will run through Thursday, September 4, 2025, as part of activities culminating ECOWAS @50.
The program, designed to foster collaboration and share best practices, brings together key stakeholders including the ECOWAS Commission, African Union, United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), and Heads of security and Intelligence agencies from the ECOWAS region and the Sahel, and..
