Governor Uba Sani has disclosed that his administration has significantly scaled up agricultural investment in Kaduna State, with the agriculture budget rising from ₦1.4 billion to over ₦100 billion in just two years.

The governor, who spoke on recent interventions in the sector on TVC News, said the government has acquired about 400 tractors within the period to boost mechanized farming across the state.

He added that only two weeks ago, the state distributed over 400 trucks of fertilizer free of charge to farmers, as part of ongoing efforts to support food production and reduce input costs.

Governor Sani stressed that the massive investment was aimed at strengthening Kaduna’s food security, empowering rural communities, and positioning the state as a leading agricultural hub in Nigeria.
