Minister Wike Begins Rehabilitation Of Karu Roads, Pledges 10-Month Completion

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, on Wednesday, commenced the emergency rehabilitation and dualisation of the Karu Interchange–Customs Clinic Junction Road in Abuja Municipal Area Council (AMAC), and pledged that the project would be delivered within 10 months under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

Speaking in Karu, Wike said the project was proof of the administration’s resolve to extend infrastructural development beyond the city centre into satellite communities.

He described Karu not as a satellite town but as a city that deserves modern infrastructure.

“I don’t know why they should include Karu as a satellite town. As far as I’m concerned, Karu is a city. The only problem has been the bad roads. Now the roads will come up as good roads,” the minister said.and..  Read . .More —
