BREAKING NEWS: NELFUND Seeks Expedited Student Loan Verifications
The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has called on tertiary institutions to improve their turnaround time for the verification and approval of completed and submitted applications to avoid unnecessary delay in loan disbursement to the students.
A statement by the Fund’s Director, Strategic Communications, Mrs Oseyemi Oluwatuyi, noted that the plea became necessary as NELFUND is inundated with complaints from prospective beneficiaries expressing worries that the delay in the verification of their applications by the institutions is causing delay for many of them in receiving their institutional fees and upkeep allowance from NELFUND.
The Fund noted that by prioritising timely verification and approval of successfully completed and submitted applications, the loan beneficiaries would have no issues getting their fees as and when due..and.. Read . .More —
