Tottenham’s €70m Bid for Nico Páz Rejected as Midfielder Eyes Real Madrid Future
Tottenham Hotspur’s €70 million package bid for highly-rated midfielder Nico Páz has been rejected.
The 19-year-old Argentine talent, currently shining at Serie A side Como, has made it clear that he wants to remain in Italy for now, with his long-term focus set on a future at Real Madrid.
Sources confirm that Real Madrid had no concerns over Spurs’ approach, as the Spanish giants were prepared to match any offer made.
Los Blancos also hold a €10 million buy-back clause valid in 2026, ensuring they retain control over the youngster’s career trajectory.
In the meantime, Real are expected to compensate Como further down the line, reflecting their strong interest in re-integrating Páz when the time is right.
