Yesufu, a top ally of the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi said the move by the government is aimed at preparing citizens ahead of planned glitches in the forthcoming poll.

In a post made on X, the activist said Nigerians are actively made to normalise glitches.

“All of a sudden there are system glitches everywhere! People are being conditioned ahead of time to accept the glitches that will come during the election!” Yesufu wrote.

The activist’s remark comes after there have been reported glitches by various government institutions.

Some of these institutions include the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) which apologised for glitches in the 2025 UTME results.

Other cases are the West African Secondary School Certificate Examinations (WASSCE) and during the last election were technical glitches marred the use of the Independent National Electoral Commission’s Results Viewing ,and..  Read . .More —
