When asked during an interview about remarks by former Governor Nasir El-Rufai, who described him as his mentee, Governor Sani said his loyalty lies with Nigeria’s progress and the leadership he respects.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the late Gani Fawehinmi are my leaders,” he declared.
“I don’t talk about individuals, my focus is on Kaduna. I don’t get distracted; my eyes are on the ball.”
