Speaking at the United Nations, Beijing’s Permanent Representative warned that the escalation posed “extremely dangerous consequences” for regional and global security.

“Israel’s bombing of Doha is extremely dangerous and proves that there are no limits to the Israelis’ violation of rules,” the Chinese envoy declared.

The statement comes amid mounting international outrage after an Israeli strike targeted a Hamas negotiating team in the Qatari capital. Hamas confirmed that several aides and a Qatari security officer were killed, though senior delegation members survived.
