In a televised address late Monday, the Qatari leader accused Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu of dragging the Middle East “to a point of no return.” He also rejected claims that Qatar was given advance warning, describing the U.S. notification as “100% treacherous” and stating it came ten minutes after the strike had already begun.

“The attack deliberately targeted negotiators who were working at the request of the United States,” Al-Thani said, adding that radar-undetectable weapons were used in the assault.

Qatar vowed to pursue “all necessary legal and diplomatic steps” in response, stressing that its sovereignty had been violated and regional security undermined.
