Five hundred vulnerable women across the sixteen local government areas of Kwara state have been empowered through small business recapitalization by Nigeria’s first lady Oluremi Tinubu under her Renewed Hope Initiative in collaboration with the Tony Elemelu Foundation.
The empowerment was supported by the Kwara state governor Abdulrahman Abdul Rasaq with additional fifty thousand naira each to the beneficiaries.
