Ondopress News reports that the Ondo State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Professor Igbekele Ajibefun, has reiterated the state government’s determination to enhance learning outcomes across all levels of education.

Professor Ajibefun gave the assurance on Monday while monitoring the resumption of primary and secondary schools in Okitipupa Local Government Area.

The Commissioner, who visited some public schools to assess compliance with resumption directives, said the state government has outlined clear strategies to support school management in equipping students for academic excellence.

“We have put in place proper strategies for school authorities to train and prepare their students effectively. That remains their primary responsibility. The government, on its part, will continue to monitor closely to ensure everything is done the right way,” he stated.

Ajibefun was accompanied on the visit by the Okitipupa Zonal Education Officer, Mr. Akinbuwa Oloyede, and several school principals.

The exercise marked the official commencement of the new academic session across Ondo State.
