Turkish football pundit, Ugur Karakullukรงu has revealed details of the tense exchange between Galatasaray and Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis during negotiations over a potential transfer for striker Victor Osimhen.
Osimhen, 26, had a brilliant season on loan at Galatasaray after joining them from Napoli last year.
The Nigeria international scored 37 goals and provided eight assists in 41 matches across competitions for Galatasaray as they secured a domestic double.
However, Galatasarayโs negotiations with Napoli over a permanent transfer of Osimhen are yet to materialized.
Speaking on the development, Karakullukรงu provided an explosive account of what allegedly transpired during talks between the two clubs.
โWhile Galatasarayโs management was in Italy for the Osimhen talks, the Napoli president [Aurelio De Laurentiis] told the middleman on his boat, โTell these guys I am not selling to Galatasaray. They should get lost,โ Karakullukรงu said (via habersarikirmizi).
โHe is not actually saying, โGet lost,โ he is saying something more serious. I am saying it politely. Thisโs literally true.โ
