EXCLUSIVE: Lille Seal €3m Deal for NEC Defender Calvin Verdonk
French Ligue 1 side Lille OSC have reached an agreement with Dutch club NEC Nijmegen for the signing of Calvin Verdonk in a deal worth around €3 million.
The Indonesia international is expected to feature in NEC’s game tomorrow — his final appearance for the Eredivisie side — before completing a medical in Lille immediately after the match.
Verdonk, who has enjoyed a strong relationship with his coaches and teammates at NEC, is set to reinforce Lille’s defensive options as they prepare for the new season.
