Wike Laud Tinubu for Lifting Rivers Emergency Rule

In a statement issued on Wednesday by his Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and Social Media, Lere Olayinka, Wike said the President’s action demonstrated his commitment to peace and the sustenance of democracy in Nigeria.
According to the minister, Tinubu’s timely intervention not only saved Rivers State from prolonged political instability but also restored the confidence of its people in his leadership.
Wike commended Rivers residents for their continuous support for the President, urging them to remain steadfast as the federal government works to return the country to the path of progress and development.
He also called on stakeholders in Rivers State to work together in harmony for the collective good of the people.
