Tinubu’s Reforms Push Nasarawa Allocation From ₦4.5bn to ₦16bn — Sule

Nasarawa State Governor Abdullahi Sule says President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s economic reforms have increased the state’s monthly Federation Account allocation from about ₦4.5 billion to approximately ₦16 billion.

Sule said the additional resources have expanded the state’s capacity to deliver major projects in roads, education, healthcare, water and industrial development.

He acknowledged the initial hardship caused by the reforms but said Tinubu “took the bullet” for the states and local governments by taking difficult decisions that previous administrations had repeatedly deferred.

The comments came as the Renewed Hope Ambassadors National Media Tour, led by Bayo Onanuga and comprising presidential media aides and over 50 senior journalists, inspected major projects across Nasarawa.

Among the projects inspected were the 16km Makurdi bypass, a 1MW solar farm powering the state secretariat, Kilema Bridge, Shinge Waterstorm Channel and a vocational skills centre.

Governor Sule said the increased resources are now translating into visible development across Nasarawa State.
