44-Year Old Man Arraigned For Beating Wife Inside Market Over Money For Feeding
A 44-year old man, Oyelakin Saheed, has been arrested and charged in Lagos State for allegedly beating his wife, Raheem Rukayat, 32, in public over money for feeding and inflicting injury on her body in the process inside the market…Read ..Full.. Article.. .
Ondopress reports that the incident happened on 4th July, 2025, at Ikotun Market, Ikotun area of Lagos.
According to the Police, the wife demanded for money for the feeding of the family but he refused, which led to a disagreement between them in the market. In the process, the man grabbed the wife and beat her up mercilessly inside the market.
The matter was reported to the Police at Ikotun Division. The man was arrested and detained at the station for interrogation over his alleged conduct against the complainant.
