The Premier League champions were linked with several high-profile strikers. At one point, speculation suggested they could move for a star playing in Spain.

That talk has now been shut down. The player’s agent has made it clear that there was no approach from Anfield.

According to Erem News (via The Mirror), Liverpool never made an official offer for Atletico Madrid forward Julian Alvarez.

The Argentine joined Atletico from Manchester City in August 2024 for £82 million.
