BREAKING NEWS: FCT Resident Doctors Suspend Strike Again
The Association of Resident Doctors in the Federal Capital Territory Administration has announced a temporal suspension of its indefinite strike.
The association’s president, Dr George Ebong, said on Friday that the decision followed intervention from the senate.
Ebong, however, noted that none of the doctors’ demands have been met so far.
The association which comprises of doctors practising in the 14 district and general hospitals, including the Department of Public Health under the FCTA, had embarked on the indefinite strike on Monday September 15, to press home their demands after months of unresolved negotiations with the FCTA. .
