JUST-IN: Police Arrest Four Suspected Armed Robbery In Enugu

The Enugu State Police Command has arrested four armed robbery suspects and recovered three firearms and other incriminating exhibits from them.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Daniel Ndukwe, in a release, Thursday night, stated that police operatives of the command attached to Ikirike Division and the Anti-Cultism Tactical Squad, on 17th September, 2025, arrested one Okechukwu Anthony (male, aged 25) along Agbani Road following a distress call.

According to him, “The suspect was arrested for attempting to rob a male victim of a smart wristwatch. A locally fabricated pistol resembling a Beretta but without a magazine or ammunition was recovered from him.”

He further stated that operatives of the 9th Mile Division, acting on credible information about an ongoing armed robbery along Uzo-Nwa Money, Ngwo, in Udi LGA, arrested two male suspects, Chukwudi Stephen Ngwu (aged 36) and Chibuike Ohaekelem (aged 23), on 17th September 2025.. .
