JUST-IN: APC Leaders Hold Strategy Roundtable in Abuja to Strengthen Party Unity, Push for President Tinubu Second Term
Barrister Ismael Ahmed, Executive Chairman of the Presidential Compressed Natural Gas Initiative (PCNGi), convened the Progressives Strategy Roundtable at the Shehu Musa Yar’adua Centre in Abuja.
The high-level meeting brought together federal ministers, heads of key government agencies, and prominent stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from across the country.
According to a statement released by Ahmed, the discussions focused on three core objectives: reinforcing party unity, reviewing the achievements of the current administration, and crafting strategic frameworks to ensure a successful second term for President Bola Tinubu.

A key highlight from the roundtable was the emphasis on the role of political appointees. Ahmed stressed that every appointee serves as an ambassador of the administration, bearing responsibility both to the government and to the Nigerian people who gave it the mandate.
He warned that failing to maintain strong connections with the grassroots undermines the President’s vision and urged participants to prioritise public engagement.
“Now is the moment for us to solidify public trust through meaningful policies and strategic alignment,” Ahmed said. “This is how we will pave the way for continued progress as we move towards the next electoral cycle.”
