An Iranian missile has reportedly struck Al-Minhad Air Base in the United Arab Emirates, a facility known to host foreign military personnel, including Australian troops.

Confirming the development, Australia’s Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese, said no casualties were recorded among personnel stationed at the base.

According to Albanese, the incident caused only minor damage, with a fire reported along the road leading to the base following the strike.
