BREAKING: Trump Told A War Story About Venezuela at a Saudi Investment Summit.

Within hours, Iranian state media turned it into proof that Iran struck the world’s largest aircraft carrier from 17 angles.

The full transcript from the FII PRIORITY Summit in Miami on March 27 shows Trump quoting a Venezuelan general describing the moment US forces attacked Venezuela.

Trump said: “And the general, a professional general, really good, he said: ‘We were all set for him.’” Then Trump relayed the general’s words: “‘They hit us and they came from 17 different angles. We ran for our lives.

It was over.’” The “we” was the Venezuelan military. The carrier was launching the attack, not receiving one. Lead Stories confirmed it was about “the operation that took place in Venezuela, not about Iran.”

It did not matter. Press TV, Iran’s English-language state broadcaster, published the clip under the headline: “US navy men ran for their lives as Iranian forces struck USS Gerald R. Ford from 17 angles.” Tehran Times posted it as breaking news.

Russian propaganda networks amplified it across Pravda. BRICS-aligned Instagram accounts turned it into a Reel with millions of views. Within hours, the decontextualized clip became the most shared Iran war content on the internet.

The Pentagon says the Ford left the Red Sea because of a non-combat laundry room fire on March 12 that injured three sailors, caused smoke inhalation in 200, and damaged 100 sleeping berths.
