Iran has reportedly issued a 10-point response to a proposed U.S. framework aimed at de-escalating the ongoing conflict in the region.

According to the outline, Iran’s position centers on security guarantees, sanctions relief, and broader regional adjustments.

Key demands include a guarantee against future attacks on Iran and a permanent end to the war, rather than a temporary ceasefire. Tehran also called for an end to Israeli military operations in Lebanon and a halt to hostilities involving its regional allies.

A major component of the proposal is the lifting of all U.S. sanctions, which Iran has long argued are central to the crisis.

In return, Iran signaled willingness to reopen the Strait of Hormuz, a vital global shipping lane currently affected by tensions.

The proposal also includes a controversial economic measure: a $2 million transit fee per ship passing through the Strait, with revenues to be shared with Oman.

Iran says it would establish rules to ensure safe navigation and use the funds for post-conflict reconstruction rather than reparations.

While the details remain unconfirmed by Washington, analysts note that the demands reflect Iran’s attempt to secure both economic relief and long-term security assurances See more full, details. .
