Trump Warns of ‘A Whole Civilization’ Dying as Iran Deadline Looms
In a sharply worded post on Truth Social, US President Donald Trump has issued a grave warning to Iran, declaring that “a whole civilization will die tonight” if the country fails to reopen the Strait of Hormuz by his stated 8h00 p.m. ET deadline.
The statement escalates tensions on day 39 of the US-Israel military campaign against Iran. Trump added that “maybe something revolutionarily wonderful can happen, WHO KNOWS?” while appearing to reference potential strikes on Iranian infrastructure.
