The United Arab Emirates has issued a strong warning to Iran, calling for an immediate halt to attacks and the protection of global shipping routes.

In a statement, the UAE demanded that Iran cease what it described as attacks threatening maritime security and ensure freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz—a critical artery for global oil trade.

The Emirati position also includes a call for compensation for damages allegedly caused during recent hostilities over the past 40 days.

Beyond immediate security concerns, the UAE urged that all of Iran’s military capabilities—including nuclear, missile, drone, and what it described as proxy or allied armed activities—be addressed within any broader resolution framework.
