2027 ELECTIONS: Wike Challenges El-Rufai Over Tinubu’s Chances
Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has dismissed predictions by former Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu will finish third in the 2027 presidential election.
Speaking in Abuja, Wike described El-Rufai’s comments as faulty political mathematics.
“El-Rufai is my friend, but he failed in this mathematics. He goofed. Since he knows Tinubu will come third, he should also provide who will be first and second,” Wike said.
The FCT Minister further challenged El-Rufai to a political wager.
