Omokri: Obi Came Out Of Sickness To Politicise Killings, But Quiet On Simon Ekpa Jailing

According to Omokri, Obi took time out of his sick leave to politicise the situation but kept quiet all through the sentencing of Simon Ekpa for terrorism by the government of Finland.

He wondered why Obi didn’t feel bothered by Ekpa’s atrocities in the Southeast region, from which he hails, but is moved by killings in distant Borno State.

He wrote on Facebook, “Peter Obi, who told us he was sick, came out of retirement to politicise the recent killings in some parts of the country. He said the deaths upset him. But curiously, this same Peter Obi has not said anything about the conviction of Simon Ekpa by a Finnish court.

“Interestingly, the Finnish court said Simon Ekpa was directly responsible for many deaths through terrorism in the Southeast, Peter Obi’s region.
