PDP Chieftain: ‘I’ll Be Happy If Peter Obi Returns To Our Party Ahead Of 2027
Chief Dan Ulasi, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has stated that he would gladly welcome Peter Obi, former presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), back to the PDP ahead of the 2027 elections.
Speaking on Arise Television on Friday, Ulasi said Obi’s credibility and popularity would boost the PDP’s chances in the polls.
His words: “I’ll be happy if he joins PDP because he will bring his credibility to bear on the party as we are reorganising.
“Any party that has him today will know they already have more than 30 to 40 percent of the election because he has tremendous support across this country.”
