“We Knew the Road to Reform Would Be Tough — No Nation Rises by Hiding from the Truth”- TINUBU
President Bola Tinubu has stated that his administration understood from the outset that the road to reform would be difficult, but emphasized that no nation rises by hiding from the truth.
“We knew the road to reform would be tough; we knew rebuilding Nigeria would require courage, vision, and difficult decisions, but we also knew. No nation rises by hiding from the truth. We must not deceive ourselves and risk the future of our grandchildren,” Tinubu said.
The President’s remarks underscore his administration’s commitment to structural reforms despite the immediate hardships they may impose, urging Nigerians to embrace truth and long-term thinking over short-term comfort.
