Kebbi Govt Set To Wed 300 Couples, Pays N250k Dowry For Each Bride
The Kebbi State Government has concluded plans to sponsor 300 couples in the third edition of its mass wedding programme.
Chairman of the Mass Wedding Committee, Alhaji Suleiman Muhammad Argungu, said each groom will receive N250,000 as dowry.See More. .
Beneficiaries were selected from the state’s 21 local government areas.
The wedding ceremony will take place in Birnin Kebbi in the presence of Governor Nasir Idris.
Each couple will also receive furniture and household essentials.
