Danger! Keep Off! Never Date A Married Man

In my early twenties, my mother said to me, not once, not twice, but over and over again: “Never, ever date a married man!” Here are the reasons she gave why one should steer clear of married men:

You will be sharing a man who belongs to another; therefore you will never be seen as number one person in his life. You should be number one with whoever you are in love with and don’t play second fiddle.

Most married men who cheat tell their girlfriends that they are no longer happy with their marriages and would soon end it and marry them. The truth is that most men who cheat really have no intention of ever leaving their wives.

The reason they are with you is to get something that their wife is not giving to them. This is where you come in, his plaything on the side who fulfills his desires, which is more often than not sexual.

Now girl, don’t be the dumb girl who does not know which side is up and get involved in an affair, which has no future.

Never mind that he promises endlessly that he will divorce his wife and marry you. He is just waiting for the right time to tell her because she suffers from high blood pressure, and would not want her to suffer a stroke when he breaks the news that he wants a divorce!” And, from observing these sort of relationships over the years, not many of these kind of affairs ever turn into marriages.

It is estimated that less than 10% of married men who have had affairs, end up leaving their spouses and marrying their affair partners.

Bear in mind also that, most times, when a man does leave his wife and does get a divorce, he very rarely marries the woman that he was having the affair with, as he now feels that he is now free to mess around with more chicks than settle for his mistress.

Now for the clincher. If ever his wife discovers the affair he will lie between the teeth; he may even go as far as to say you used voodoo to entice him, among other things he might say to deny you.

Think it through – If you were married and another woman stole your husband, knowing you, I am very confident you will be far from amused. You and I know it is wrong to steal someone else’s husband and it is immoral.

Don’t waste your life on someone that will never be yours. Dating a married man should never be an option. Why should you want to share your man with another woman? There are lots of single unattached men out there, so go out and get your own!
