Ondopress.com Seriake Dickson, national leader of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), has called on party members to stop public disputes, bickering, and name‑calling, urging them to focus on the 2027 elections.

Speaking after a three‑hour meeting with presidential candidate Peter Obi and other leaders in Abuja, Dickson said they “amicably resolved all issues.” He stated that Nigerians are looking up to the NDC to provide credible alternatives to the current governance challenges.

Internal party disputes distract from building a credible opposition platform ahead of 2027.

A public call for unity signals that tensions within the NDC have been significant.

The meeting with Obi suggests efforts to consolidate the party after recent disagreements.
