Nollywood actor Benedict Johnson is currently receiving medical attention for an undisclosed health condition that requires surgical intervention, the Actors’ Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has confirmed.

AGN President Abubakar Yakubu told TheCable Lifestyle that Johnson is “actually ill” and requires surgery, adding that the guild is lending full support. The confirmation followed a viral video showing Johnson inside an MRI scanning machine.

Johnson, a graduate of Mass Communication from Abia State University, began his acting career with ‘Living In Bondage’ and later appeared in ‘Stolen Bible.’
