Daniel Bwala, President Bola Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Policy Communication, has claimed that Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, gets angry whenever Nigeria makes progress.

In a post on X, Bwala criticised Obi over remarks that he would not remove fuel subsidy or establish state police if elected.

Bwala wrote: “I don’t know why every time Nigeria makes progress, it angers Peter Obi.” He accused Obi of flip-flopping on key policy positions, including subsidy removal, state police, and foreign exchange unification.

The Presidency is accusing Obi of being inconsistent on key policy issues.

Obi is being criticised for changing his stance on subsidy removal and state police.
