Authorities in Adamawa State have reportedly arrested Mallam Adamu Reddington, a prominent community figure in Hong, over allegations of providing intelligence and logistical assistance to suspected bandits.

Reddington, who is said to be known in the community for his participation in Islamic prayers and peace meetings, was taken into custody as authorities intensified efforts to identify individuals suspected of supporting criminal activities in the area.

The allegations against him have not been established in court, and the circumstances surrounding his arrest remain subject to investigation.

His reported arrest has attracted attention in the community, particularly because of his previous involvement in religious gatherings and peace-related meetings.
