The President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, has declared that the country is entering what he described as a “new phase” of the ongoing conflict, warning of intensified military action.

In a statement, Pezeshkian said Iran had exhausted its stockpile of older missiles and would now deploy more advanced systems in its operations.

“From now on, Khorramshahr-4 missiles will be launched across the Gulf and the Middle East,” he said, adding that targets would include positions linked to Israel and United States forces in the region.

The Khorramshahr-4 missile is considered one of Iran’s more advanced missile systems, reportedly capable of carrying heavier payloads over long distances.
