Beyond Limits FA Dazzles in Ogun State Colours at Gothia Cup Opening Ceremony
Nigeria’s representatives at the Gothia Cup, Beyond Limits Football Academy, turned heads at the tournament’s opening ceremony in Sweden.
The Ikenne-based side wore traditional Yoruba native outfits, with the colours proudly representing Ogun State.
The delegation wore green “Kembe” outfits made with Adire fabric, paired with “Abeti aja” caps made from Aso Oke material. The vibrant display was a powerful statement of cultural pride and heritage preservation on a global stage.
The team has a history of making an impression at the tournament, having previously won the “Best Costume” prize at the opening ceremony.
Their native outfits at the 2026 event continue this tradition of showcasing Nigerian and Yoruba culture to an international audience.
