Content Creator Allegedly Rapes 20-Year-Old Aspiring Trainee, Leading to Her Suicide – Suspect Caught on Video Begging for Forgiveness
A 40-year-old Asaba-based content creator, Ifeanyi Ogbonna, popularly known as “Odogwu of Asaba,” has been accused of raping a 20-year-old woman, Favour, who later committed suicide after enduring trauma and severe emotional distress.
According to reports, Favour travelled to Asaba on June 1, 2026, at Ogbonna’s invitation after he offered to train her in content creation.
Upon her arrival, Ogbonna allegedly took her to a hotel, where he raped her and subjected her to physical violence. Favour returned home visibly distressed and disclosed the incident to her parents.
She later recorded a video recounting her experience and the emotional trauma she suffered.
Following the recording, she ingested a toxic substance and died despite efforts to save her life.
A video has also surfaced showing Ogbonna pleading for forgiveness. The suspect is currently in custody as investigations continue.
