SHOCKING!!: Father Confesses To Impr£gnating His Own Daughter In Adamawa

A man identified as Jediel Sylvester has reportedly confessed to having an incestuous relationship with his daughter, which allegedly resulted in her pregnancy.

Sylvester, a resident of Ganye Local Government Area in Adamawa State, made the admission while appearing before a court, stating that he was driven by lust to commit the act.

Following his guilty plea, the Upper Area Court No. 1 in Ganye, presided over by Judge Kabiru Musa, ordered that the defendant be remanded in a correctional facility pending further proceedings.

Sylvester was brought before the court after a direct criminal complaint was filed against him by his daughter and an uncle, Mohammed Audi through their Counsel, Abdulrahman Njidda who cited Section 111 of the Administration of Criminal Justice Law Adamawa State 2018 for the move against Sylvester.

While addressing the court, the prosecutor, Audi, explained that the defendant was married to the victim’s sister, making him her father. He said the defendant took his daughter to a healthcare provider after she informed him that she had stopped menstruating.

Audi told the court that medical examination revealed the girl was three months pregnant. According to him, the defendant allegedly urged her to name someone else as being responsible for the pregnancy, but she refused, maintaining that no one other than her father had ever had s#xual intercourse with her.

The prosecutor further alleged that the defendant proposed terminating the pregnancy, but the girl declined, saying it was unsafe and not the right thing to do.

Testifying before the court as the second complainant, the girl alleged that her father repeatedly subjected her to physical ab¥se and intimidation to force her into having s+xual intercourse with him.
