Construction of new male and female hostels at the NYSC Permanent Orientation Camp in Ikare-Akoko, Ondo State, is progressing as the state government moves to improve accommodation and other facilities for corps members.

The project, which will provide a combined 216-bed capacity, was approved by the Ondo State Executive Council in October 2025 under the administration of Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.

The hostel development is part of efforts to improve facilities at the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Permanent Orientation Camp and provide better accommodation for corps members posted to Ondo State.
